... This one's actually been brewing for 6 months, so... 1 Million Words folks!

Update 21 has been released! Last public upload was pretty much a year ago so, I'm very sorry for the long silence, a lot of the updates have been mostly in the private testing phase on Patreon, but I am here with a bunch of fixes and hangout updates.

But most importantly... We've passed the 1 Million Words mark... My fingers are tired. ❤

I'll be completely honest, when I started Breach 2 I knew it was going to surpass 1 million words. I just didn't think it would take this long. Through numerous challenges, both in writing and in real life. Through numerous ups and downs, I'm absolutely surprised and grateful to know that there are people out there who still support me. I've had many thoughts, numerous times, to give up and move on to other things in life, but I didn't want to disappoint, so I kept writing.

I bring to you, the 1 million milestone update. It's really not much, but it is one step closer to completion. This update has been in the works for the past 6 months mostly due to the weapons rework and also story changes for the crew members that I apparently couldn't keep track of without a giant excel spreadsheet. This update finalizes the Archangel's Gamma Crew hangouts, which is Kaz and Carly's hangout as well as Anna and Charlie's hangout.

As before, they share the same storyline so they will both share the same hangout. If you choose to go out with one, you cannot go out with the other. Kaz shares it with Carly, and Anna shares it with Charlie. Keep that in mind. Oh, and there's 7 new guns to play with. Have fun, Ian.

This update does not include the new Chapters. Chapter 3 will still be Patreon exclusive until Breach 2 finishes and I can send the demo to the public testing, and to CoG for the full release.

I really cannot reiterate how grateful I am to have an amazing array of readers and supporters who are still here after numerous hiccups and fuck ups. Thank you all, so very much.

The Hollow Breachverse: Fantasy Outfits

Heyo Hollowers! Cursi here! While Valarion is the main brain behind this season 3 concept, I had the fortune of concepting the fantasy designs for one of the future chapters! I figured I’d share them here and provide little notes about them!

Do keep in mind, by the way, that these designs are subject to be altered in the future. The chapter these designs are associated with is a mid-season chapter, after all. All we really have so far are concepts and plot/scene ideas. They’ll especially change a bit considering my art-style and Valarion’s art-style are rather different from each other.

Mira - I had a lot of fun with Mira’s design. She was one of the first ones I did, I believe? Gave her witchy excellence something a bit non-traditional, and sprinkled in a sea-themed flair with the fish on the leg, the shore pattern on the inside of the hat, and the pink pearls sprinkled here and there. Her and Vanessa (and later Skeet) are a team for most of the chapter I believe. At least that’s the concept. It’ll be fun to see how they work together!

Vanessa - Vanessa was the last I did, mostly because Valarion took awhile to muster the energy to draw a Vanessa doll (All six of the characters have dress-up dolls that Valarion made to dress them up in outfits for chapters. They don’t wanna share the dolls themselves but they might be willing to share some outfits made using the dolls. We’ll have to see. ^o^). She was EXTREMELY fun to do! Loved turning her into a pretty fairy (different from a pixie! Although some might argue otherwise). Don’t remember what flower I used as a reference for her design though.

Reeve - Reeve’s outfit is based around the concept of a squire. In the context of the chapter, he’s the “princess’s” attendant/bodyguard. I think I did pretty good with Reeve. He always looks good in reds. Reeve is a bit of a DnD nerd so he’s kind of enjoying this specific breach, actually. This is one of the chapters where Reeve and Kai’s dynamic really shines. They joke LARP a bit throughout the whole ordeal. Nerds.

Kai - Continuing the trope of putting Kai in unconventional outfits. He becomes the princess because of the breach and he’s quite insecure about the whole ordeal. Reeve helps him develop some confidence, though. Loved designing this outfit. My favorite part is that fluffy thing around his chest. Don’t know what it’s called at all. I think he rocks a dress pretty well! This outfit is actually pretty integral to Kai’s character and his relationship with his parents, by the way. Specifically his mom. Let’s just say that Kai is a lot like his mom. More than he wants to admit.

Adam - Adam is, of course, the heroic knight of the land. His dog puddles gets turned into a robust stallion that he rides throughout the breached landscape. I could have given him a normal outfit but I wanted to add a bit of a Don Quixote flair to fit with his Hispanic origins. Besides, giving him a regular knight helmet just seemed boring to me. Adam is mostly focused on fixing the breach with Reeve and Kai in the chapter…which is unfortunate for him because Kai and Reeve aren’t taking him or the situation as seriously as he would like.

Skeet - You know I had to do it to him. Skeet is a court jester, and NOT happy about it. It’s ok though because at some point Mira turns him into a dog on accident. Or something else turns him into a dog. Either way he turns into a dog. Lucky Skeet. Haha. But yeah his design was fun to work with. Jingle Jangle Jingle.
