Rah bread jumpscare/silly
AAAAAAAAAAAAAA-oh wait…BREAD!!!!!!
i made challah bread!!!!!!!!!!!!!
it was so fun, but did take me like 2 days lmao
i dont think i braided it right, it was a fishtail instead of a 5 strand braid, but overall it was very fun. i listened to 1989 tv the whole time, which was very vibes. it tastes very good, but might be a bit undercooked which sucks. i put too much egg was, so it looked done waaay before it was lmao. next time im gonna put it on a lower shelf, but the whole process was fun and brought me a lot of joy!!

Bread is so good
I like to tear a piece off a loaf with my hands and eat it straight
Unsliced loaves of French or Italian bread, pulled apart with my hands and consumed piece by piece is a deeply enjoyable experience
Spouse is taking the new dough he made and is turning it into a flaky pastry. He reminded me we have camembert that we got from Aldi ages ago, and I suggested apple butter.
Also, I went feral over my little piece of dry aged Camembert while he grated some.
MM CAMEMBERT.
And a bread hat trick?!?!?!?!
I baked challah bread again!!!!!
I do have a thesis to write, but who cares! its bread time! i did leave this one a bit late, and had to set one to rest for like 4 hours without finishing the other one, but they turned out pretty good! my brother came home for the hols and demanded fresh bread (not really he just wanted me to bake stuff) and i am too anxious to try any other type of bread so far lmao
anyway, happy hanukah to those that celebrate! sourdough challah is not the kind used in hanukah celebrations, but it is still very fun to make.
