This was not good. Why was everyone doing so well on her little bingo card?? Susie stared down at the sheet from behind her mask in complete shock and surprise. Did she really relate that much to other people? Always she had felt like an outcast due to her own isolation caused by the odd behavior that manifested from the abuse she suffered.

Yet this little, small bingo card was somewhat proving to her that the thought she was as alone and unlovable. The survivors especially were proving these thoughts all wrong and the killer-- she had no idea how to really handle this.

" Uh. . . Do you wanna maybe, listen to some of my other tapes? I have more than just the special one. I have a whole collection! If you want to hear. . " Oh this wasn't going well, she felt the timid nature she had thought she abandoned long ago creeping back. Only glad she constantly wore her mask when outside the resort now as it would have given away just how flustered she was. " Or shit, um. Do you also like art? Wait- fuck yeah um. . I could show you some of my sketches if you want. "

Susie wanted to crawl back to the lodge and hide under her bed at this rate with how poorly she was trying to communicate. It was highschool all over again.

Admittedly, Dwight had spoken to Jeff only briefly in passing before a particularly bold rescue sparked more conversation. He had taken a great risk unhooking Dwight when the others had been pushed out the gate, and he was eternally grateful.

Jeff was a rugged looking man, his body carrying a lot of strength that didn't surprise the nervous leader in the slightest, but his altruistic nature had caused respect to bloom & curiosity of his past before the Fog begin to mount. It wasn't easy talking about life before the Fog, but Dwight would be lying if he said he wasn't eager to hear Jeff's story.

"Y'know, I . . . wanted to say thank you," Dwight runs a fidgeting hand along the back of his neck. "I was ready to die on that hook. . . I owe you one."

As the bard sat down beside Jeff on the worn camp log, a wide smile was already plastered on his face. In his hands he holds a piece of paper, softly his fingers drum quietly on it.

“I heard you write poems yes? I was wondering if you could share out works together? I’m not quite wondrous yet; but perhaps with a little aid… I will get better… I’ve one a little something but… don’t know if I like it or not..”

"I hear you've delt with a type of onryō as well. Is she as relentless as Sadako?" - Yoichi Asakawa to Adam Francis

Adam leaned back, gathering his thoughts.

"From what I hear, I doubt anybody is as relentless as Sadako."

Yoichi was probably the closest thing to a subject matter expert as Adam would ever find. He'd been dealing with onryō since he was a child. Despite how easy it was to fall prey to cynicism in the realms, Adam couldn't help but ask Yoichi a question that was burning in his mind.

"Asakawa-san... Onryō are tortured spirits born from a curse, correct? Sorry if this is a naive thought, but do you think there is a way we could reach them? Like, communicate with them."

The thought had been on his mind since he saw the wounds on the killer his fellow survivors called the Spirit.

"Do you ever wonder if they're like us? Hurting? Trapped? Forced into all this? I don't know. I'd never prioritize helping them over helping any of you all, but I can't help but wonder."

*Jeff sees Baby walk into the video store he works in, and while he doesn't know her, the vibe around her feels familiar* "Haven't seen you around here before, is there anything I can help you find?"

Baby strolled in, casually. She took her time scanning a row of video tapes, “So, what? You takin’ a census or somethin’?” She offered a smile to soften the bluntness of her response as she made her way up to the counter, “Got anything with Bette Davis in it?”
