As a person who is not comfortable in confined spaces, having to do an MRI was a challenge. I was able to request the larger tube, which was somewhat better. It was a spinal MRI so my head had bumpers so it would not move. The technical nurse asked if I would like a cloth over my eyes which I gladly accepted. After entering the tube I was able to use my yoga breathing to help keep me calm. Starting with my toes and following my breath to the top of my head and back down really helped me get through the test. Thank you Nadine.
