My final morning at the Buckland Hall in Brecon Beacon after spending 5 days running 2 workshops at the personal development retreat, Loving Men. My Drag Therapy set to find hidden identity through clothes and make-up and I set a small fashion show to celebrate these discoveries. I also run Contact Improvisation workshop using partnering dance and weight bearing shapes to access key concepts in psychotherapy such as trust, support, letting go and communication through bodily experience. It was warm and loving and I return to London with a warm glow. At times it was challenging as we explored into the subject of honesty and authenticity. The work brought up my painful past and I had a good cry on NYD. My body really needs that release and I was surrounded by love, care, and support. I am now arrived at compassionate and loving space. I learn so much about myself, my vulnerability and my values to others.
