Hey! So I may be playing Revali at a panel for a con in going to (just realized it's gonna be a botw, persona 5 and danganronpa crossover so that's an unintentional crazy random happenstance xD). Anyhoo, I was wondering if you have any tips for portraying him to make it more accurate. I won't be able to mimic the voice, so I wanna do everything I can to make at least the portrayal more than decent.
It’s extremely important to acknowledge that Revali isn’t trying to convince others that he’s important & wonderful & skilled; he’s just confident because he knows it. There’s a very distinct difference between someone who is just naturally confident vs. someone who is trying to get others to believe that they are confident (because they otherwise don’t buy it themselves). This is the core difference between making Revali sound like a jerkass and simply making him sound like a tryhard, and will be 70% of your input towards matching his personality.
When I was recording for him, I would often pretend my arms were his wings and ‘fold’ them behind my back, as though taking the poise of a lecturer about to give a lesson to his students. This helped cement my mentality of being an ‘authority figure’ to Link who was his natural superior, while also preventing me from being too exaggerated by limiting the movement of my limbs.
Just wanna say that your Jojo art, your Dangan Ronpa art, your ace attorney art, well... all your art, and you yourself are all beautiful <3

Acro from the third case is an awful human being. I’ve known more people who felt bad for him but I’m sorry I don’t. Yes his brother is in a coma because Regina is tried to play a prank. Which yes Regina shouldn’t have done that, but she was always inside and never actually learned anything (Because her father.) Acro killed the ringmaster by accident because he wanted to kill Regina. He tried to kill the daughter of the man who took him in when things were bad, and he repayed it with murder just because Regina is a moron.
I think I’m going to change my Username. Now that I don’t do RP, this one just doesn’t feel right.
It’ll be changing from Breedersgirlfriend to TieCladArtist
@breedersgirlfriend Sadly, I haven't seen it in awhile but I also haven't seen people against it in awhile either.
1: What part of the anime/manga piqued your interest? 2: Did you think Midoriya would be a good protagonist in the first few chapters/episodes?
1. Hmm well I got into the series because my brother, who reads a lot of new manga constantly, came across bnha when there was only 3 chapters. He knew I read previous works of Horikoshi and he told me about it. I began to read it immediately and loved it. I’m really happy to see how it’s grown!
2. Yes! Just, his willingness to become a hero despite not having a quirk to work with and being told that he should give up, it shows great strength. His reasons for wanting to be a hero being more genuine, like Toshi, is great. I love my freckled son!
Gem Stones, Bubble Bath and Bird Songs (For the Soft Asks)
Gem Stones: What’s your birthstone/favorite stone?
It turns out I have multiple birthstones! My birthstones are tanzanite, topaz, turquoise, and zircon. I was born in December.
Bubble Baths: Your favorite memory?
At my old house before my family and I moved, we had a small sand pit in the backyard. It wasn’t like a sandbox or anything, it was just sand lying in the grass but there was enough to play in it. I would play in it every day and find little bugs. I often found ladybugs and ants.
