19. most important thing in your life?

it feels kind of bad to say this, but if i’m being honest?

it’s my students.

i love my family and my pets and my boyfriend, but my students get most of my time, energy, and patience—even my joy. it takes a lot out of me to do this job as a natural introvert (i’m performing and interacting with 130+ people every day!). it also takes a lot of creativity and drains a lot of my free time, and i don’t always have a lot of me leftover at the end of the day. 

but i love my students. i love my job. i’ve had so few bad days when i’m with them. it means a lot to me that, for some of them, i might be a source of consistency, safety, boundaries, forgiveness, high expectations, and love that they aren’t receiving elsewhere. i don’t take that lightly.

26. what movie would you want to live in?

i am not sure i will ever grow out of wanting to live in a world of magic, so it’s still harry potter :)

1. cherry - what is your sexuality?

I dunno, complicated. I gravitate toward the ‘pansexual’ label because gender literally means nothing to me, but I have a super complicated relationship with sexuality in general so like. I sincerely do not know. Gay as hell though.

8. freckles - most-worn article of clothing?

this skirt. I made it with my gma, wear it literally like... 80% of the days I wear normal people clothing and not just sleep-clothes.

17. cupcake - are you a good cook?

I actually am! I’m good in the kitchen, especially when I’ve got all my meds and am not Suffering (so can spend more time on my feet in the kitchen, rather than needing a break every five minutes).

I’ve not actually had too many flavours of frozen yogurt, but I’m inclined to say either vanilla or raspberry.

Secret gardens! 😍 Although I recently had a lovely time getting lost in the woods.

Awwww... I’m soft for every baby animal almost regardless of species! Lambs won’t make me sneeze and cough, though... so lambs would be better for me.

That clearly depends... I do work with cotton when I’m using fabric, so I’ll go with cotton this time.

these three mugs are like my most important possessions lol. the blue one is hand made and has a really special/bittersweet backstory. i would die if it ever broke. the paris mug had been my coffee mug for 10 years and it brings me such simple little delight and peace every weekend (only times i drink coffee at home). the nyc one i bought when i moved here and i like it much more for tea than coffee. and i only get to have tea at home on very lazy weekends so it means that things are really going well for me when i get to use it. :) and they all just make me really happy. :)))
