Blåhalsene er meget sangaktive for tiden. Endnu er kun enkelte hunner ankommet til yngleområderne, og hver enkelt han har travlt med at få etableret et territorium, inden resten af hunnerne dukker op i løbet af de næste par uger.

The bluethroats are very active, vocally, at the moment. Still, only a few females have arrived at the breeding areas and the males are busy establishing their territories before the rest of the females arrive over the next couple of weeks.
