hi, I’ve been going crazy searching for this, do you happen to know where I can find it? you’re amazing at finding paget/prentiss content so I thought you’d be the best person to ask! it’s the deleted scene in criminal minds season 7, “unknown subject” at the end where prentiss tells hotch she is having a bad day, and there’s a deleted scene where they have a little talk afterwards that got edited out of the episode due to airtime. if you could find it for me you’d be an absolute life saver!! thank you 🙏
Hey! Okay, so unfortunately, the "deleted scene" you're talking about didn't get released for viewing. An extended version of it just wasn't included on the Season 7 DVD release.
Back in 2011, however, Paget did mention that the moment was scripted longer-- which would definitely indicate that the footage exists:
AND in a follow up chat room interview with one of the CM writers/producers, Breen Frazier did offer fans the missing dialogue from the extended, but never-to-be-seen-in-living-color version:
So in closing, I suppose we could blame CBS for hoarding the content we really want to see on the DVD releases??? I do that all time...
