I grew up in the mid-Atlantic, taking the scenic rail from Elkins to Cheat Falls each autumn per tradition. Owing to this I've always had a soft spot for Elkins, and even more so, now that Brewstel brew shop and hostel is around to offer a beer and a bunk to the thirsty, weary travelers of the West Virginian Highlands.
