"Sit still, will you?" He's being delicate as possible, fingers carefully twining strands of blonde into a braid. It's not his best work, but it's also not something he usually does. "Let me know if I accidentally pull a piece of hair too hard."

A slight huff leaves her lips, it being her first reply. She enjoyed being still when cradling a book, pouring over research, or watching the blues of the sky turned orange as the sun set. Yet when she had to be still while she was the focus of attention, her chest would tighten and was prone to a degree of fidgeting. She mutters some form of an apology after, highly aware and feeling self-conscious of her every movement.

It has been years since her hair was braided last – despite the maids the castle employs, she much prefers to do things on her own. She had forgotten the feeling of her hair being tended to in such a manner.

“Alright – though I must say you’re doing just fine so far. Better than I expected, honestly. Does your sister have you braid her hair, or is this a skill you’ve picked up on your own?”
