I just watched Insatiable for the first time and, what the hell did I watched?

Hating on Patty was worth it all along, but it was boring and boring watching her do again and again the same mistakes. She was unlikable.

Nonnies character was hidden and made uninteresting when she had the greatest potential.

I watched only for other Bob, who was, by far, the best character of the whole series. He was deep, and well written. Loved him! (but I'll never forgive the writers for making him polyamourous and getting forced to choose only for Coralee and hot Bob to have (no matter how platonic) a relationship)

Brick Armstrong from insatiable is the cutest!!! I’m not sure if he classifies as a Himbo but he’s just too cute! <3

Insatiable was a good show and I’m soooo sad that they cancelled it!! It really did show how some people may be looked at in one’s life just by surface information. Brick was so sweet as a boyfriend to patty (despite cheating on magnolia) and wasn’t the best at communicating either but he definitely deeply cares about the people he loves’ problems. They really nailed it on the head for teen experience with jumping to conclusions and being dumbasses when the answer is right in front of them.

I wanna do some yandere headcanons for him but I don’t have any brain juice rn. Did you watch insatiable too? If so what are your thoughts on the yandere versions of the characters???

I’m sorry but Magnolia and Brick are GIVING for me. The messy original breakup? Tea, drama, absolutely deserved. The not-so-secret pining and dumb jealousy plot? Hell yeah, fine by me. Enemy dads/opposite families? Of course, sprinkle even more spice into this complex relationship. Exes to friends to lovers? YES, give me that second chance romance! Plus I love their growth, how they actually started listening to each other and appreciating each other as people before becoming a couple. It’s really nice to see them genuinely care about each other AND balance the hotter aspects of their relationship. I just really vibe with them as a couple, plus it just feels nice to have one of the Black girls on the show getting the hottest/sweetest guy and a technical happy ending, especially with what happened with Dee and Nonnie.
