ALLLL OF PERSEPHONE’S EVERYTHINGGGG THROUGHOUT THE WHOLLLLLEEEE SHOW BUT OUR LADY OF THE UNDERGROUND/“THERE’S A CRACK IN THE WAAAAALLLLLLL” OH SHE TOOK HER MOMENT AND SPRINTED OUT THE DAMN DOORS!!! Also how trapped and broken Persephone seemed. Like it was very clear how unhappy she was despite trying to seem lighthearted and the nuances shown through so clearly. A life changing performance.
but especially her shaking her head no to Eurydice and Orpheus whenever Hades wanted to speak with them. As if to say, “Don’t do it, you don’t have to do this.” Like my heart BROKE.

THE FATES!!!! One was having her own damn show lmao so extra in the BEST WAY. I loved how they operated as the wind and truly helped create it as a character, and how it felt like they truly were manipulating the characters into their decisions, making the inevitability feel all the more real. Their harmonies were DOWN and TIGHTENED TOO!!!!! AN EXCELLENT PERFORMANCE!!!!!!
“Kinda makes you wonder how it feels…” and Orpheus jumping in front of Eurydice with his arms stretched out 😭 he went full protective mode even though he’s 3 apples tall 🥺😭
During Wait For Me, when Orpheus was singing those damn La’s like his life depended on it!!!!! Also ALL the La’s. And I LOVE how DEFIANT some of them were. Like we sat there and watched that man DEMAND the gates of hell open. He sang La like ‘you WILL let me through’ like fuck!!!! It was just so powerful with the staging as well like he was singing and the doors LITERALLY STARTED TO OPEN LIKEEEE I started sobbing. And in the Underworld while Hades and Persephone were dancing and some of the la’s landed like Orpheus was daring Hades to deny his and Eurydice’s exit and therefore his own love to Persephone. Pure. Fucking. Genius. And. Magic.
“IS ANYBODY LISTENING??????? I OPEN MY MOUTH AND NOTHING COMES OUT. NOTHING!!!!!!!” will rattle around my brain FOREVER!!!! THE HEARTBREAK THE RAGE THE PURE DEVASTATION!!!!!!! ESPECIALLY ON ‘NOTHING’ LIKE SHE HALF SHOUTED IT AND IT WAS THE PERFECT CHOICE MY GODDDDDDD
Orpheus kissing Eurydice’s head (he did this so much) and holding her as tightly as possible at all times. He held her so tenderly and treated her with such care. You could also hear the ‘kiss’ sound through the mic and I thought that was soooo cute!!! And the amount of times he went down on his knees in front of her like that’s what I’m fucking talking about!!!!!
IF IT’S TRUE!!!!!!!! GOD!!!!!! Orpheus singing to the Chorus individually!!! As people!!! And Eurydice!!!! Encouraging them ALL to return to life!!!! And you could literally see the hope start to bleed back into his eyes, ESPECIALLY when Eurydice started singing back to him. He looked like he wanted to jump out of his skin and merge souls with her like the hope was that powerful 😭🙏🏽
Hades and Persephone dancing 🥹 and how he held her as well he cradled her head when she returned to him after their dance 🥹💗 and it humanized him so much like I actually felt bad 😭

LOVED the staging for Doubt Comes In! It set Orpheus up perfectly for turning in pure doubt and madness and frustration and WHERE IS SHE IS SHE THERE. Also the GASPS in the audience lmao both when Orpheus appeared in the aisle AND when he turned around. And the immediate sobs afterwards when he and Eurydice had their final conversation.
Eurydice finding the flower and her shock and joy in doing so.
Persephone taking care of both Eurydice and Orpheus like they were her babies!!!!
Orphydice seeing each other again for the first time at the end I just lost my shit crying 😭 like we really are gonna sing it again and hope that it might turn out this time!!!!
We Raise Our Cups was excellent also. The sobbing continued.
I loved how innocent and soft Jack Wolfe’s Orpheus was. Even after finishing the song, his “I don’t know” was just so pure 🥺 and I LOVED how you could see Morgan Dudley’s Eurydice fighting her cut and run instincts and how heartbroken she was to return to them after finding safety and love in Orpheus. Their reunion was so joyous, and she wore that joy LOUDLYYYY IT WAS BEAUTIFULLLLLL
There are so many more things but this by far has been my favorite show/production/cast ever and I am so incredibly grateful to have seen it live.
