March is ending, this is my last feature for this month and i wanna say bye with this great spring photo.

Honestly, how many of you raise your camera higher than the ground or little above ground level to take some photos? It's not easy but it gives a different and great perspective.

Examples? Here you got the perfect one.

I really like this lightest of the whole scene, this feeling of “relax, take it slowly”. Very nice composition, leading lines  of the roof and pillars make it all well organized. I like the aperture that Jerome used, the level of blur on the face of the green minifig leaves this nice place to interpretation. Does she like the singer on the roof or not too much? What do you think?

❤️ FEATURE: SKABRAM

Who has spring on the other side of the window? With today's feature I wanna take you outside once again and relax with heron just sitting in the wild. 

Can you imagine that this build is not a box set but a self build MOC? Impressive, truly impressive. But back to the picture, I love this wildlife feeling. I feel this quiet sitting in the bushes, slowly not breathing moving a few cm to the left to get a better look at the bird. 

Heron is so well positioned in the frame, not looking straight into the camera but opening the scene into the left side and perfectly chosen colors of the background make heron really stand out.

❤️ FEATURE: @johnreiley

For the first feature of this month of February I selected this photo of @johnreiley because it intrigued me a lot.

As you may know, I like photos that tell a story or those that leave room for interpretation by the observer. Here we are dealing with a photo that falls into the second category.

And that’s why it intrigued me because I asked myself why? Why is this “dismembered” figurine smiling? Why is she in the light while another seems to be hiding in the darkness. At first glance it gives off a feeling of sadness but in fact in my opinion it is positive. What do you think?

I also appreciate the use of very marked chiaroscuro to convey 2 emotions, 2 very distinct feelings. The well-marked vertical lines are relevant to draw our eyes a little more towards this smiling figurine.

John also explains :

"I had the goal to create a shot with minimal color that also played on juxtaposition of opposing themes. For example: a minifig that has been pulled apart but is still smiling at the camera; a bright white environment contrasting with an unsettling scene."

Let's start today's feature with a very important question: is this a real giraffe or is it a brick built giraffe?

It's so hard to say at the first look for me, it looks so real. But establishing that this is LEGO, what a beautiful shot, it got so much of this safari, wild and nature atmosphere. I literally feel like sitting on the hood of the land rover or in the bushes with a telephoto lens and enjoying a beautiful moment. Outstanding, close to the sunset light - it takes a bit of the knowledge and understanding to photograph with sun shining directly into the frame, big respect. It all gives this softness, natural orange/yellow glow and simply beautiful photo

Today I present to you a photo of the talented Sandra because I really liked the intimate and warm atmosphere that it gives off.

If you know her work you already know that she regularly uses this warm atmosphere in her work, an atmosphere which immediately gives a soothing side to photography. Once again she worked on a nice lighting scheme to center the scene on this cellist. Look at how the warm left lighting contrasts with the dark, cold right side, watch how the musician is exposed towards this light as if his music is calling out the last rays of the sun.

She told me that she used a mystery facial which here accentuates the effect of the light rays. Thus, leading lines emerge and guide our gaze towards his face. We can then see a face with closed eyes but which seems peaceful like the general atmosphere of this scene. Don't you want to go inside and listen to this man play?

❤️ Feature @mumubrix

Hey Everyone

Autumn vibes today. Beautiful autumn is in my area, but not as beautiful as the one shown in @mumubrix photo.

Where to start? The light - perfectly reflects the low autumn sun, it is sharp but at the same time draws contours beautifully and gives this unique autumn atmosphere. I really like the angle of the entire frame, the perfect 45 degrees, the orange tree is beautiful in the foreground, and the tiled floor gives a feeling of order and organization to the entire frame. 

And finally, this minimalism - one leaf on the table, seemingly fallen, but perfectly arranged - everything that is most important comes to our attention right away (thanks to beautiful lighting) and allows us to slowly enjoy the rest of the frame.

Great example that minifig is not always have to be the main subject of the photo
