Took the boys to Brickfest (basically a LEGO convention) and scored these awesome pillows. Now the boys can reenact those scenes in the Avengers movies where the hammer meets the shield. The shield pillow actually has arm straps on the back too!
BrickFest We were at BrickFest Nashville today. Had a great time, built some stuff and found some new toys.

So, Brickfest was not what I was expecting. Instead of a Lego-themed convention complete with vendors selling custom parts & vintage sets, it was all just building competitions aimed at little kids, with a couple of brick-built statues on display. No Bionicles at all & they didn't even have minifigs of the Brickfest mascot.
