Went to the BrickLive event in Frisco.  Was honestly very disappointed.

I knew there wouldn’t be too much for adults to do because Lego is apparently only for kids(who a great many didn’t seem to be having any fun either), but even the options for buying Lego’s was incredibly poor.  There were just three local shops setting up a table with a -very- small selection of minifigs and almost no sets.

The only highlight was seeing all the large models of animals.  These are my favorite of the lot.

All in all though, a complete waste of $40 to attend.  I wouldn’t recommend or even try again.

This past weekend I visited BrickLive 2018 at the NEC in Birmingham... and met this glorious Lego Chimera! It is a pixelated rendition of a classic, Greek mythological Chimera, and it was beautiful.

I just wanted to share my joy with you!
