Crowds gathered to catch a glimpse of the elegant society wedding of Sir Hugh Smiley and Miss Nancy Beaton (Sister of Sir Cecil Beaton). The bridesmaids hold garlands of flowers as they walk behind the couple and their pageboys. St Margaret's stands besides Westminster Abbey in Parliament Square, London. Founded in the twelfth century, it is the parish church for the City of Westminster and the Houses of Parliament.

for the first time literally my whole life, I just saw someone call out the 'perverted plus size girl' trope and oh my gosh

though I'm nonbinary, I present pretty feminine and Ive fluctuated weight, but I've been bigger for more time, and I always just kind of knew I wasn't supposed to be sexual. I even remember telling one of my friends something along the lines of "I'm a sex positive person and I find people who own their sexuality/sex life/"hoes" really cool but no one wants to see a fat 'girl' doing that :/" so I was always trying to smother myself sexually, and seeing as I'm a younger teenager that's not very good for me.

I wasn't even able to acknowledge my own sex drive until, like, last summer, and even then I felt disgusted by myself. I didn't know until literally ten minutes ago that I'm thinking like this, and probably other plus sized feminine people are thinking this way because films feel the need to make big girls fucking road side attractions and not let them be actual characters with depth like skinny girls. They make us crass and awkward perverts and people laugh, out of humor and disgust, and we see that and internalize it.

if you're a plus sized girl OWN YOUR SEXUALITY IF YOU HAVE ONE. You can be sexual, you can be sexy, you don't have to suffocate your sex drive if you have one! you're not gross! and if you've never experienced what I'm talking about, more power to you! I hope you can set an example for the girls who do feel like they're disgusting for liking sex or wanting it, because I could have really used someone like that
