St Bridget's Church in Bridestowe, Devon, is a parish church in the Church of England and one of the central buildings in the rural area on the northwestern edge of Dartmoor. It is a Grade II* listed building of medieval construction with restorations made in the 19th century.

Fields of Purple @ Bridestowe Lavender Farm

Last year's this time I was at Bridestowe Lavender Estate in Tasmania. I was very excited to visit the estate because I had seen so many amazing pictures of the lavender fields on Instagram. The weeks leading up to the trip, I was literally checking the Bridestowe Instagram page nearly everyday for updates on the flower bloom and whether the lavender had been harvested yet as the timing varies from year to year. Thankfully, on the day we went, the fields were at the best bloom, making it very optimal for photography.

Bridestowe Lavender Estate was in 1922 and is the largest commercial plantation of French Lavender in the world. Located in Nabowla, 50minutes drive from Launceston in Tasmania its definitely worth a visit.
