Little Moments From Bridgerton 4x04 That I'm Still Thinking About

Sophie has let Benedict help her onto/off of the cart so far. But the moment they're back in Mayfair and she learns that her new job is Bridgerton House, she refuses his help and hops down herself.

Benedict is going to flash his scar left and right to defend Sophie for the rest of his life.

When Benedict says Sophie's last employer was "most unkind" he kind of touches his side and Violet clocks that so fast and locks in on hiring Sophie.

Sophie's look when she sees another maid cleaning up the mess Benedict, Colin, and Gregory made. Small scene but it says a lot about the two of them and their positions.

How excited/relieved Sophie and Hazel were to see each other when Hazel arrives at Bridgerton House.

Francesca trying and failing to be spontaneous with John. Poor girl is overthinking things.

Footman John's smile dropping when Hazel jokes about marrying a well-to-do gentleman and becoming their new neighbor. And he quickly tells her that he's only seen a lady coming and going next door, no gentleman. He is incapable of playing it cool with her.

Colin immediately needing to get another drink when the talk turns to mistresses. Like, bro can't fathom the idea of loving someone who's not your wife.'

Will Mondrich dropping that line about having to marry within your class but that doesn't mean we always love that way. Between this and Hiscox, the idea has been planted for Benedict that there could be a viable option for him and Sophie.

Benedict's little pout when he says "Because...?" to Sophie.

Literally every time Benedict has begged Sophie to please stay, please don't go, please don't leave me (again). He's going to be on his knees begging before the season is over.

"Whoever told you your French pronunciation need work is a fool!" and Benedict's face when Miss Hollis said that.

Sophie and Benedict both lighting up when they see each other and then their faces falling when they realize what's happening. Followed by Benedict having a little panic attack over the whole situation.

Sophie getting worked up and angry and frustrated and kicking Benedict out of his own house. Benedict agreeing to pack up his things and leave straight away. They're amazing.

John being very understanding with Francesca and making her feel better. "We have all the time in the world"? Sorry, John, but you don't.

Hyacinth telling off Eloise at Francesca's dinner. Eloise needed to hear that. Granted, people have been telling her something like that in every season and it hasn't sunk in yet. But maybe it will this time around? Who knows.

Why do I find the long coat on Benedict Bridgerton hot? Also, where can I find a long coat like the ones they wear in Bridgerton?

Up until those last couple of words, Benedict's speech/confession was everything! He even had Sophie dropping formalities and calling him Benedict. Why'd you have to go and ruin it, Ben? Why?

The dramatic villain music playing when it's revealed that Araminta is the Bridgerton's new neighbor. Just to set the tone for the second half of the season and make all of us lose our minds until then.

idk how it is in the books but michaela showing up when john and francesca are in a more solid place after she was honest with him about her experiences in sex and all is just sooooooo annoying to me like i get that they're supposed to end up together and that's fine but can that not be separate from her and john? can they live in peace? can the show not frame it like he's second best to what's gonna be the ~real~ love story for francesca or whatever?
