Season Two is available on YouTube! Happy Wife Happy Life is a panel of two lesbian couples offering their perspective on relationship questions. Though the target audience is lesbian couples, the discussions are honestly helpful, regardless of the gender of you or your partner. Insightful and funny, this show is well worth checking out.

I had a lot of feelings after ClexaCon
I didn’t realize how big it was when it was happening, I was caught up enjoying each individual interaction. When I had time to think about it as a whole I started to think about how far I’ve come in the 16 years and the people who, without every knowing me, had helped get me here.
In the first episode of unCONventional, a Clexacon poedcast, hostess Dana Piccoli chats with TAGG Editor in Chief, Eboné Bell, and actress/comedienne Bridget McManus. This episode is loaded with tips for Clexacon first timers and returning attendees alike....
Hey guys! Guesssss what? The first episode of unConventional, our podcast hosted by @danapiccoli, is now available. Check it out and tell us what you think!
ClexaCon stories: the “Catch All” addition
If you've seen my other posts, you know I was a volunteer, which was a lot of fun, however I was a busy volunteer, so I wasn't able to experience much of ClexaCon. I only saw two panels (including the Wayhaught one I was working), and didn't really have a chance to speak to the guests I wasn't working with.
Here are a few amusing interactions that didn't make it into one of my fandom specific posts.
Sarah Shahi! I've never seen Person of Interest, but I am very familiar with Carmen de la Pica Morales. Unfortunately the day Sarah and Amy were there, was the busiest for everyone, so I missed any photo op and had someone else stand in line to get an autograph for me. So what WAS our interaction? It was her yelling at me as she passed by me in the bathroom...lounge(?) or makeup(?) area. See, bizarrely, there wasn't a separate bathroom for guests to use without being cornered and asked for inappropriate (by virtue of the location, not the action) selfies or just to not be on display in that setting. So while I was in the pre-bathroom(?) area of the bathroom waiting for the “celebrity” I was “escorting”, Sarah walked by. Since she was one of the bigger names there, I was surprised there wasn't 3 staff members forming a human shield around her or something, so I blurted out something about wondering why no one was with her . Whatever I said, her assertive response was “I know how to pee by myself!”. Her tone was joking, not the least bit unfriendly, I blushed and everyone laughed a bit and moved on.
I had a great heart to heart with Bridget McManus at Cocktails for change, but it doesn't really make for a fun tumblr story.
Also at cocktails I made it a point to meet Ali Liebert. I know people say this about celebs all the time, but it's 100% accurate here; she's so completely down to earth and chill and easy to talk to. I told her “thanks for always popping up on shows I like to make out with hot women”, she laughed and insisted that it was her pleasure. The conversation somehow landed on Americans wanting to enter Canada as refugees and I blurted out “oh yeah! You're Canadian, please marry me” (I think it should be noted that I managed to make it until Saturday night before proposing to a Canadian). She didn't get a chance to respond because some woman next to her (who I kind of thought was asleep) perked up to say “naaaa...I have dibs”. I'm pretty sure that Ali’s partner was there anyway, but that effectively ended my courtship of Ali.
I got to meet the writers of I Can't Thank Straight and expressed my gratitude for the many wonderful things that movie gave queer women.
And, just so my weekend could end with an expected bang, hours after all of the ClexaCon events had ended, and I had already gone out to have dinner and was returning to my room, I was chatting with a couple of Con goers who recognized me. Eventually we were talking about how crazy/awesome it was that Sara Ramirez had just shown up at the con. I shit you not, as this conversation is happening I look up and see Sara Ramirez, in all her bisexual glory, just a few feet in front of me. I mean, she had escorts and walked right by me, but still. Holy fuck. I can turn the fan girl thing off pretty easy, but I need warning....like being face to face with Sara Ramirez is something I need to emotionally prepare for.
