It is done! I’ll take some better pictures soon but for now here she is on the dress form. I actually really love it. I still feel like I’m going to dislike most of the dresses I make, esp. if they are new or complex. 

I went with hooks and bars over a zipper so I could adjust it if I lose or gain weight but this means I can’t close it up myself. Not the worst since this is for special occasions only.

I’m glad I went with the dots under the bees, they add a little bit of depth between the bees and the satin without being distracting. I can also stuff this washer and hang dry it!

It was a nice day and I had some energy, meant it was a great moment to get dressed up!

As expected I can’t do the hooks and bars on my own but when I want to wear this dress I’ll likely have someone available to do up the back! It’s very comfortable even with the stays and I like the light train in the back. I some times over do it with the length of my dresses, who needs to walk?

Since I don’t think pockets would have worked with this dress I made a little pouch. It fits my phone, wallet, keys, camera clicker, and a fan.
