okay seriously remus never wears his tie. mcgonagall stopped even trying to say anything by third year bc what’s the point? and besides, as far as students go it wasn’t like he ever gave her any trouble (that she knew of, anyway)

so the day he does put on a tie, for a formal dinner and a favor for minnie, is the day that sirius realizes his sexuality is remus lupin bc oh. my. merlin. 

sirius does, just never the proper way. its always just a little undone. but hes also constantly pulling at it which drives remus up a freaking wall.
