At some point I will properly update the Brightwoods, but for now have an update on the three daughters:
Verda—decided to major in History, spends a lot of time hanging out with the cute hipster girl from her History seminar when she's not at practice.
Genevieve—living in the family pool house (more like pool shed) with her boyfriend Ralph and is super duper pregnant. Ralph had been holding out for an Ecology job, but seeing as he's about to be a father, he was strongly encouraged to get a job decided to become a masseuse in the meantime. (Olga prays every evening that her daughter will get engaged to that very attractive boyfriend of hers.)
Elena—her gap year hasn't been very eventful. She spent so much time hanging out with Larry and his band at the premier teenage venue, A Friend's House, that she...sorta started secretly dating his bandmate too. Ah, teenage romance.
