Comics workshop with @brigiddeacon on Stream of Consciousness narrative. In the morning Brigid talked to us about her work, where she began up to what she's working on now, giving us valuable insight into her thought process while creating her work. In the afternoon we did an hour challenge to create a comic using the content from our personal Camera Rolls or Screenshots to inspire the imagry. This really helps to free up ideas and draw from sources that are a part of your life, while giving you a focus. Then, we did a twenty minute challenge, to find objects to use the outline or silhouette as a panel and for that object to play a part in the narrative. This really helps to bring objects from our life and make them important in our comics, and to use the things around us to influence our work.
