can we choose to believe that she's in some dungeon somewhere & everyone believes she's dead & someone else raised this mind-tampered kid cause why would he act like this (ankles how SHOCKING what if she had /PANTS/) it's preferable to having to listen to will throw a tantrum about liz not waiting for him (she's a type a personality my dude) or maybe that he looks that way because the kid is actually jack's? pls pls someone just make something else up cause i cause i can't stand her being gone

i like the idea of her being held somewhere and everyone thinking she’s dead (including Will who would think she died on land) and i LOVE the idea of her making her appearance at the end of the movie ala barbossa :3 (and saving the day obviously)
on a sadder note, the boy only knows jack BY NAME so no “uncle jack coming to visit” stories or anything at all…….. elizabeth was literally dropped on that island and forgot by everyone uGH and her son was apparently raised to be will’s version of PotC 1, which honestly makes no fucking sense bc REMEMBER THE 10-YEAR-OLD BOY WITH THE HAT SINGING A PIRATE’S LIFE FOR ME?? yEAH it’s like he regressed as he got older….. BUT ALSO the fact he’s so scandalised by ANKLES makes me think he may have been raised in a convent or something?? (it sounds ridiculous but the alternative of having ELIZABETH SWANN PIRATE KING raise her child to be such a prune in life is even worse)
maybe elizabeth had some relatives that we never heard of and she sent him off to have a better life????? maybe someone was hunting her down and she had to disappear with will’s heart and everything? (i’m liking very much this theory tbh)
