He knew her. He knew he did, her face wasn't one he was likely to forget. With wild hair framing such delicate features, she was one Draco would notice. && yet, he couldn't know her. It was impossible. He'd never been to this place before, he'd never known anyone from here, so how could he recognize one, random woman? It was absurd, completely illogical, &&  Draco shouldn't have felt a flicker of something when he saw her.                                                       Swishing robes && magic wands.                                                     Incantations && moving staircases.                                                        Old stone halls && moving art..                                                        Empty classrooms && ghosts.                                                                         Hogwarts. The word made Draco start, shaking himself from the memories. Where had that come from? What was all that about magic and schools? Maybe she could explain it to him, maybe it would be the same for her. He had  to ask her, he had to know.                                                       ❛ Excuse me! ❜

Realising that someone had entered the room, Hermione turned around quickly not quite sure about her feelings when she recognised it was Draco. The young witch only took a deep breath. 

        ” Why would you care, huh?        I am the mudblood, aren’t I? ” 

She knew that all he was going to do was to call her a helpless mudblood and then laugh, but she couldn’t handle it anymore. Some things did hurt her and this was the time she really couldn’t keep the tears inside anymore.

When he'd walked into the classroom, he'd expected to find it empty && he was caught completely off guard to find Granger crying, alone. Had he been younger, had he had the energy, he would have mocked her. He wouldn't have let her get a word in as he knocked her down. But they were older now, and he was tired.                ❛       Whatever you say, Granger,              but if you're done, I'd like the room.❜ It was a lie, && he hoped she realized that. Her words && accusations stung, mainly because they were true, but he was still much too proud to let her see how he'd aged. If she came to the realization herself, that was a different story entirely. He wanted to help, he just didn't know how anymore.
