Feel free to ignore this, as I feel like we're starting an ask/answer hole of no return, but I'd love to know how you'd survive the situation with the Baker's as well. It's a bit more relatable (despite the infection and monsters) than surviving a post-apocalyptic world like Mad Max. So, how do you think you'd fair trying to survive the Bakers?

Dude I could do this all day. Poor followers!Okay. So.If they weren’t actively trying to kill me, I’d probably do what I could to ingratiate myself with them. Mostly because they seem fairly cogent, despite all the WEIRD SHIT. I’m good (to a fault) at trying to get a measure of people so I can get along, trying to find social interaction strides to make things go smooth. I won’t say I’m super charismatic, but I try to avoid confrontation, and open myself to different perspectives, as much as possible… which can be bad, sure. But in a situation where I’m surrounded by crazy people who all seem crazy in the same way? I’d probably try to survive by doing what they wanted, and hope I could find a way out later. Which uhhh might not work out anyway. I’d probably end up a molded or fucked up like Mia.As far as Lucas goes… I’m pretty curious what he’d do in that scenario. We already know he’s a sociopath who lacks any kind of remorse or adherence to right and wrong. Would he dismiss someone who joined the family like that? And became a mindless slave to Evie, and give them no more consideration than any of the dumbasses that go through? He likes his games, and torture, so someone who like… did what they were told might just be boring to him. But hey, maybe he’d be okay with having a girlfriend. But I’m also thinking that a girlfriend to him would just be another act, and he’d expect and perform the superficial things “girlfriends and boyfriends” do without actually being into it. Also probably no sex bc he’s not a rapist and sex with someone who can’t consent is rape. And who knows, maybe he’s not even interested in sex. (obviously for the point in my fic he def is huhuhuh)I could also be selling myself short, who knows, maybe in a fucked up situation my inner Valkyrie would come out and I’d wreck the place/manipulate my way out.I obviously put too much thought into this.

oh my gosh, brim, you’re making me blush, thank you so much!! I’m so glad you liked it, you are one of the prime sources for monster smut, after all. I will hopefully be developing these two into a full length novella or novel, because it was always intended to be a lot longer, I just really wanted to share it this kinktober <3

LOL. It’s one thing to like fictional bad guys, but I feel I shouldn’t enjoy photos of the real life soldiers and riot police of villainous governments. I dunno, I have issues with irrational guilt. My therapist is working on that.
