I LOVE New Year's Eve because it's a reminder that every day brings us a new beginning! My podcast went on hiatus. I ventured back into acting after a 10-year break and some time in academia. Growing up in theater, I've always kept one foot in the industry. It feels soooo good to jump back into acting this year with both feet after the painful realization that academia isn't the revered environment it used to be. This year, I decided to pool together ALL of my skills, which brought me where I am right now: making a living as an actress. Life is full of surprises! "everything was black and white, but now it's technicolor: a whole new world of wonder" Didn't make a holiday post, so this is my holiday/2022 recap post. And boy, what a year it was! Let's see: -spent the holidays getting my family lit af 😂 -got to try a bunch of fun new drinks/liquors -got my adorable little gremlin crackhead Mimosa *Sibling coming soon* -got an awesome/fun job at Wiregrass *Promotion Incoming* -got a couple new tats, but not as many as I wanted. *Way more coming 2023* -and of course, grew my Funko collection. It's a little over 260 at this point, and will simply keep growing. All in all, I'd say my #2022recap was a pretty great year.
