1. What makes you feel motivated?
I don't know if a lot of people know this about me, but I'm a highly unmotivated person. If I could have my way, I would spend all of my time reading and teaching students in Organic Chemistry. To do work I mostly just sit myself in front of my work (be it a textbook, computer or whatever) and continue to sit there with some good instrumental music until I finish it. Also, being around people who are motivated (i.e: libraries) makes me more motivated.
2. Is there a story behind your URL/handle? Why did you pick it?
This isn't a very thrilling story, but my handle is the same from when I got tumblr years and years ago and I just haven't changed it. I was tired of the adolescence associated with my old handle (blobjelly- which was based on neopets) and basically stole the format idea from Chelsea, whose handle at the time was something like ADJ-IMPLYING-MESSINESS NOUN. I thought "scattered logic" was both paradoxical and quirky enough and so I kept it. Also, no numbers.
3. What’s your favorite way to treat yourself?
Whenever I get free time, I like to give myself time to draw. I also love to make stupid puns on twitter.
4. Do you prefer new and adventurous or familiar and comfortable?
I think there's this romanticism of "new and adventurous" that I've never understood. Although I am all for doing new things, I think having something to go back to, something familiar and entirely "home," is very reassuring.
5. Do you have a favorite word? (Can be any language you want)
I think luxuriate, just because the word itself makes your luxuriate in saying it. There is no way to say it quickly, to skip over syllables. Instead, the word firmly roots you in the moment.
6. Who was one of your childhood heroes? Why did you admire them?
My biggest childhood hero was probably Ash, because he had all these pokemon and I had none.
7. What’s something interesting you’ve learned recently?
Apparently graduate/medical school apps are 95% bullshit.
8. How do you take your poison? (If you don’t drink, your preferred non-alcoholic drink order is fine)
Rum and Coke, all the way. Or anything that's super fruity and delicious. Or whiskey.

My puppy back home, who's a spoiled brat but whom I miss so much. :'(
