For the sake of clarity, I refer to Pink's plurality as "the ghost" and "the darkner", idk if this would be seen as problematic or not but its not out of spite or anything, I myself probably have DID or some other plurality mental disorder
No but fr we need someone with the megaphone to keep saying "PINK DELTARUNE IS PLURAL" and hammering it into people's heads bc I don't know how this got missed.
Pink is made up of the darkner and the ghost, both of which having their own opinions and feelings, and the fight is literally about finding harmony/synchronousity/whatever you want to call it. Being able to live while sharing a body in a productive manner. Even after completing the fight, its not like theyre one person.
Pink is literally 2 people, and its like, the first fucking time in a mainstream media where plurality isnt just "look at the scary evil person hidden in a good person!!" The ghost is a chaotic type, but its not explicitely bad, just defensive, and the darkner gets underrepresented, but she's kinda like a stereotypical anime girl, lilely because of the source material of her existence, regardless, absolutely a different personality
Pink is *not* just another transfemme rehash of the dummy from Undertale. Yes there is those symbolisms too, but this character is *trans AND plural. The ghost part at least, is trans.
She feels pink is the perfect representation of herself, so she ties herself to it, but she's limited at first, because its just a toy, but when the dark world is opened, she gains freedom of motion, its freeing, like really feeling like her true self, but theres another person there. Another person who also has their own wants. Its scary to the ghost at first, but she gets used to it, and the ending of the fight is the two of them coming to understand each other better. The ghost tries to be willing to try what the darkner wants.
I am really shit at articulating my feelings with this, and will likely fuck up what I'm trying to say in a desperation to get others to understand
