Ingredients: 1 brisket 4-6 pounds. 1 cup barbecue sauce. 1/2 cup beef broth. 2 tablespoons brown sugar. 2 teaspoons smoked paprika. 1 teaspoon garlic powder. 1 teaspoon onion powder. 1 teaspoon salt. 1/2 teaspoon black pepper. 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper. 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar.
Instructions: To make a dry rub, mix together salt, black pepper, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, and brown sugar. Spread the dry rub out over the brisket so that it covers all sides. In a crock pot, put the brisket. BBQ sauce, beef broth, and apple cider vinegar should all be mixed together in a bowl. Put the mix on top of the brisket. Put the lid on and set the heat to low. Cook for 8 to 10 hours, or until the brisket is soft and can be easily shred with a fork. When the brisket is done, take it out of the crockpot and use two forks to shred it. As a tasty sauce, serve the shredded brisket with the cooking liquid.
