The far-right in Britain (specifically Britain First) have been barging into hotels trying round up refugees in 2020. I’m pretty sure when people say ‘never again’, they are referring to this kind of thing, so we’ve got to fight it with everything we’ve got.

The killing of Emily Jones was a heartbreaking tragedy. It deeply disturbed me when I first read about it when it happened and it disturbs me now. But Emily will get justice. Her killer will go to prison. But using her image to promote your anti-black anti-protest just shows what heartless people you are. Has her family not suffered enough? She is not your piece of propaganda!

And furthermore, Emily was murdered. Her killer was arrested the same day and will face prison. But many innocent lives- just like Emily’s- are taken every year by the very people who have sworn an oath to protect them.

Tamir Rice: TWELVE years old. Playing with a toy gun. Shot. No charges.

Breonna Taylor: a COVID nurse whose home was raided by police in a drugs bust after her boyfriend. It was dark. They thought it was an intruder. Her boyfriend saw something in the dark so shot the police officer in the leg. In retaliation, they charged into the bedroom where innocent Breonna was hiding and shot her EIGHT times. No charges.

Regis Korchinski: called the police because of domestic violence committed against her. THROWN OFF HER OWN BALCONY.

And what will happen to their killers? Oh, yes! A nice paid holiday and a welcome back party.

Black Lives Matter does NOT mean that white lives don’t matter. It means that black people should matter too, but they are not getting the justice they deserve. Do you have to hide because of the colour of your skin? No. You can openly stand on that street, brandishing the image of a murdered girl, claiming to be offended by people daring to say that they should not be killed by those who protect them. Bit of a snowflake, aren’t cha? All lives simply cannot matter if black ones don’t too.

And don’t worry. There will be protests against everything else. But this particular one is about people being allowed to live. We don’t want any more tragic deaths like Emily’s do we? We protest to protect people!

Oh, and as for the whole ‘it’s dangerous’ argument. Most protests are peaceful and socially distanced. It’s just that corrupt media you’re always talking about it censoring it to make the movement look worse.

This is a little something to shut up all those white people who lose their mind and cry about “historical accuracy” whenever a fictional character isn’t portrayed as a blonde haired, blue eyed white person.

Somehow, for all this time archeologists have thought (assumed?) that Cheddar Man was white with dark eyes? LOL. I bet he was probably even darker skinned, with type 4C hair.
