The Arachnaphobes nightmare. This lady was in the sink in the morning and I couldn’t resist having a go at capturing her (only cos I knew she couldn’t get too close or she’d have got out of the sink!). Normally I hate spiders and you wouldn’t catch me in a room with one let alone photographing one, however once I’d looked into her (many) eyes I couldn’t bring myself to send her into the Dysons embrace. This was the first time I used a ring light for illumination and I’m fairly happy with the result, certainly opens up a lot more live subjects now.
