tonight's new WIP that may or may not become a comic? idk about these haphazard ass panels

This is Saoirse & Igni's first meeting on the nautiloid, fresh out of the mind flayer pods - they are so beauty & the beast coded aldkjfdkj Igni starts out looking and acting like a starving wounded animal (what with the whole getting stabbed in the brain by Orin, tadpole shoved in, then cut open repeatedly and finally stuffed into a pod on the nautiloid). (I didn't draw the full gore in this but I'm thinkin abt it) Saoirse is surprising herself at every turn because she SHOULD be terrified but this creature twice her size looks scared of her and she finds comfort in comforting others

(@broadwanime can chime in ofc cause Saoirse is her tav and I've just fallen in love with her aldkfjj)

also didn't feel like cleaning up the sketches so it turned into painting practice lol
