Carrie the Musical Original Broadway Poster Concept Art
Recently the Out for Blood podcast Instagram got the chance to see some of the Carrie Broadway poster concept art. It’s really interesting to see what might have been.
This one definitely gives classic horror novel cover vibes. I love the font that they used, I don’t like the random red line under the title.
This one gives classic Greek theater vibes.
You can also see the iconic wavy hair that ended up in the final poster
Absolutely obsessed with this one. It’s so simple yet gets the point across. It makes you wonder what the show is about, kind of like the final poster.
The blood stain also has a subtle side profile of a girl. Love this design.
Very unusual design. The roll of the e is maybe symbolizing Carrie’s innocence.
Anyways it’s interesting to see what we might have gotten. However I love the iconic poster that we got in the end.
