Heat Wave [Ayako + Marlon]

"It's too hot..." Ayako groaned softly, making sure no one was around to hear her complain. Already, she was regretting the decision not to wear the thinner cotton yukata. Still, she had her duty as a kimono girl to always look composed. The yukata would be too informal. "Much too hot." There was no point in complaining, though. It couldn't be helped. Perhaps she shouldn't have tried to take a walk in the middle of the day, but she was eager to see the oceanside city of Humilau. An eagerness that was slowly being sapped away by the heat.

Fanning herself with the paper fan she had tucked into her obi, the young woman smiled to herself as she watched her Lilligant bask in the bright sunlight. Glaceon would only be overheated in this weather and Ayako was jealous of the Pokemon who was certain to be resting peacefully on her bed at the inn. For the most part, though, it was a relief not to have people whispering about her clothing from behind hands. No one really seemed to be out and about. "Smart, avoiding the sunlight like that..." The young woman made her way on the wooden walkways toward the beach - nearly losing her balance in the process.

As soon as she stepped into the sand, she glanced around herself and then quickly removed her geta to carry them in her free hand. Looking beside her to her Lilligant, who was taking in as much sunlight as she could, Ayako smiled and then looked out to the ocean. "I wonder what sort of Pokemon live out there..."

Sea-ing the Sights

[So Tirtouga's gotten much stronger lately. Whitlea honestly thinks he's almost ready to evolve, and she also got it in her head that it'd be great for him to evolve in the ocean he came from. Well-- was supposed to have come from.

Hers actually came from a rock. Long story.

Still! This is why she's making her way to Humilau City on her Lapras' back. A beach is one thing - there are tons of them. But Driftveil just doesn't suit it, and Castelia is so full of boats and whatever that not only is the water probably extremely gross, her poor baby might end up massively crushed in the process!

That's not exactly the goal here, no.

Humming at the idea of being able to visit a resort city in her home region, she's kind of lazing as they approach the town.]

All right, little guy! Out you come.

[Might as well let the rest of the water types join the party! In this case, it's the star of the evening, falling into a swimming pattern just off to the side behindLapras.

Straightening, she smiles at the little turtle working his fins off to keep in stride with the much bigger Pokemon.]

Aww, you got it! Left! Left! Left, right, left!

[Okay, she can't be that serious. But Tirtouga's trying anyway, and that's enough to send her into giggles.]

//Wally and Gardevoir were walking through Fortree City. Wally and Gardevoir had only know each other for a short period of time and Wally was having alot of trouble raising her. He thought that if the two traveled together that they would become closer, but so far it wasn't working. 

Fortree City was very busy today. Wally liked traveling to Fortree, but there were so many people here today that Wally was starting to become uncomfortable//
