SUP, THIS IS GREAT AND I LOVE YOU. This year I survived being fired by my borderline-emotionally-abusive former boss and then being unemployed for 5 months, during which time my grandma and my dog died. I kept my shit together and kept applying to jobs and now I have a new one which looks like it’s going to be great and which involved a serious $$$ raise from my last position, and I’m working on building back up the self-esteem I lost in my time at my previous job.
I LOVE YOU TOO BRO. And I know how rough 2019 has been for you, and honestly your grit and determination has been so inspiring to me personally. You’ve really worked to recognize your own worth and value, and you’ve finally found the right people to recognize it, too; I am so glad that you stuck it through, even when you were feeling at your lowest point. I know things like “I knew you could do it” always sound trite but honestly, I’ve always had faith in your brilliance, your work ethic, and your love of sharing your passions with others. I hope you’re well on the way in rediscovering those things about yourself, because to me they have always shone bright.
