Kaiden are you sure this is what you want?
The man standing in front of him asked, disappointment evident on his features. After all, he was strong armed into doing this, not willingly supportive of it. “I told you, yes. Now shut up and turn it on.” He demanded, tilting the blade closer to the man’s neck. “Do it or I’ll kill you. It’s that simple, Loke.”
And with that the young man was sent back into time. Back to an era before he’d been born in attempt to achieve his one life-long goal.
The travel there was not in the slightest bit pleasant. This machine, was nothing more than a man-made piece of trash. No one had used it before him, in fact, his “friend” or once friend was not even sure if it would work. And, it didn’t. If it wasn’t for Kaiden’s supernatural abilities allowing him to regenerate, he would have been blown to smithereens.
Upon arrival, the craft was blown to bits. Nothing other than parts and scrap metal left. The flame of the ship burned bright, keeping the darkness of the night at bay. Kaiden let out a groan, his face twisting to form an expression of pain as he rolled out of the seat and fell onto the cold ground. His head turned from one side to the other but there was nothing to be found other than a few small creatures of wildlife and some trees. “Where the fuck am I?” He shifted, sitting on his butt as he held dearly to his right arm and cracked the dislocated joint back into place with a wince. This place seemed abandoned. Dear God, lets hope he was even in the right timeline. “Fuck.” He cursed, remaining seated for both his legs to heal.
“I have no idea where I am...and..” Kaiden raised his hand, placing it on the side of his skull in attempt to wipe away some of the blood that was leaking from a wound he received during his arrival. “.. my head really fucking hurts.”
