Limbs locked and tangled in the sheets, breaths intermingling, his words are mumbled into her skin. "Wish we could stay like this forever." Pressed into the crook of her neck, his smile is felt rather than seen, and he's grateful that you can't see the way it shakes. His hands are everywhere, anywhere, as though he's committing every part of you to memory, before cupping your face. "Wish for alot of things, Konan." A thumb brushes over your lips. A kiss presses against your forehead. "Wake up."
Peace.
She was at peace lovingly intertwined with him. Nothing but the soft sound of their breaths as they lay their lazily under the pitter patter of rain. If only every day were like this. Lazy. Relaxed. Quiet. All bliss.
Konans half asleep when she just barely feels Yahiko's hands run up and down her curves. He's feeling every inch of her, but shes too enticed by sleep to do more than a slothful shift towards him.
Plush lips brush against the side of his face in an attempt at a kiss. She mumbles sleepily. "Whish we could be like this forever."
Konan is still yet to open her eyes. Yahikos imagine is burned well into her memory that there's no need to. Until he tells her to wake up. It takes a moment but Konan opens her eyes, staring up at the cieling.
Tears begin to well only to soon fall and stream down her cheeks. She no longer was cuddled with Yahiko. She woke up to the spot next to her empty and then bed warm yet cold with lonliness.
It was just a dream.
