I'm back with another random happening at UPS
Jim (My supervisor): Don't stray too far away I'm gonna need you a little later
Me: *sniff sniff* you need me?
Jim: I'll always need you *prolonged loving gaze*
Me: *stares back*
Jim: *puts hand on my cheek*
Me: *continues to stare*
Jim: *after about a minute* Uncomfortable yet?
Me: Nooooooope
Jim: U gay
Me: Says the guy who stroked my cheek
Jim & Me: *laugh hysterically*
On Dragoon and Piggyback Rides
The Great Dragoon is Merlin spelled to LOOK old but he doesn't FEEL old, right?? This is evidenced by Colin talking about it in interviews, about how he was fun to play because it is Merlin's idea of what an old man would act like, and also by Dragoon scurrying like an adorable bearded squirrel across the front yard of the Random Hut in 4x03.
Ergo, when he stops in the passageway and complains that he has to take a rest, and Arthur gives him a piggyback ride, he is just flat out lying. Despite the seriousness of the situation and the incredibly obvious fuckedupness that the whole thing has going for it, Merlin just decides to be a twit and complain about his NONEXISTENT need for a breather.
Basically, Merlin tricked Arthur into giving him a piggyback ride, even though it would take longer, be annoying, and incredibly conspicuous. Most of the time Merlin is actually fairly pragmatic - I mean, the reason he's so contrary is because he's living in a really fucked up world where things don't make sense, and he cuts through that. But in this case, he was contrary because he wanted to climb on top of Arthur and kick him like a horse.
