This project builds on a 3-year engagement process of learning and listening to the needs of local #Bronxcreatives and cultural workers. In continuing our collaboration with Bronx-based partners, this space will serve as a creative home where local artists can expand their creative and cultural practices and grow their community initiatives. The challenge of accurately measuring out the amount needed when you’re using Knitting Yarn instead of Rug Yarn, is a Big One. Knitting yarn stretches, due to its composition; mete out too much, you lose money, too little you lose credibility. Lawd! Yarn support—who has indie rug yarn? Development is WORK and it takes TIME. This is why I get upset with the whole “Just Do It!” call-to-action mantra. I cannot Afford to “fail fast and fail often”. The Material World doesn’t allow for such foolishness.
