Hello! If matchups are still open I’d like to toss in mine (if not that’s perfectly ok!)
I’m a 26 y/o nonbinary femme. I’m 4’11 and chubby with tattoos on my arms and hand—gothic woodcut style. I’m alternative and love spooky things, it pairs well with me being a witch/pagan.
I’m a creative person that occasionally does art and writes when inspiration strikes me. I love to be in creative spaces since it makes me feel safe. I love to wear gothic/ethereal makeup when i have the time and energy.
Generally, I’m a pretty quiet and chill person when you first get to know me—mostly listening and light jokes before I yap about anything and everything if you let me. I’d like to think I’m both a good listener and talker and am trying my best to be nicer to myself (low self-esteem and depression). I always try to improve myself and be the best version of me as much as I can and handle, even when it sucks.
I like to make people laugh, even if my humor can be a bit dry or sarcastic/roasts. Embarrassingly enough I’m pretty earnest and genuine to a point that I stumble awkwardly when trying to comfort people or apologize for something; I always try to consider other peoples feelings even to the point of overthinking (because I overthink constantly lmao)
I’m pretty introverted and a low social battery—but I have a habit to hermit and isolate myself, especially when I’m feeling bad and think that I would bother the people I love if I talk about my problems/feelings with them (I’m working on it lol). Someone who can get me out of that and be patient with me would be nice.
Lastly, as lonely and craving for love as I am (due to childhood trauma), when I do receive love—either physical or emotional from friends and (found) family—I have a hard time accepting it because I don’t feel worthy. Finding someone who I can learn to love with would be nice; someone patient and gentle to my tender heart.
All in all: I think that I’m a relatively grounded person who likes to be goofy and yap despite the depression and loneliness. A sad goober who just wants to love lol
Hope my earnestness wasn’t too cringe lmao and if you took this matchup request, thank you :)
I am going to pair you with …
𝐁𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐤 【T𝐡𝐞 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐥𝐞 𝐒𝐨𝐮𝐥】
You carry a quiet kind of loneliness.
Not loud. Not obvious. But something that lingers beneath everything else. The humor, the creativity, the way you listen so well to others… there’s a softness there that doesn’t always get the same care in return.
Brook sees that immediately.
Not in a way that makes you feel exposed.
But in a way that makes you feel… understood.
You would meet in a space that feels safe. Somewhere creative, maybe a quieter moment away from the noise. And instead of overwhelming you, he meets you gently.
“May I sit with you?”
Polite.
Soft.
And suddenly, it’s easier to let someone in.
Your dynamic is built on gentleness and patience.
You’re quiet at first. Observant. Taking your time before opening up.
He doesn’t rush that.
He lets the silence exist.
And when you do start talking?
He listens like it matters.
Every word.
Your humor, the dry jokes, the little roasts, the awkward sincerity that follows when you try to comfort someone…
He finds it endearing.
Not embarrassing.
“You are quite charming.”
Said so naturally it’s hard to deflect.
Your struggle with accepting love is something he handles with extreme care.
You don’t feel worthy.
You hesitate.
You pull back.
He doesn’t push forward aggressively.
He stays consistent.
Offers affection in ways that don’t overwhelm you.
A hand offered. A soft compliment. Presence without pressure.
“You are allowed to be loved.”
Quiet.
But firm.
Your tendency to isolate when you’re hurting is something he notices.
The way you disappear. The way you retreat into yourself.
He doesn’t let you stay there forever.
Not by forcing you out.
But by gently reaching in.
Knocking.
Waiting.
“I will be here when you return.”
And somehow…
You do.
Your love for spooky, gothic, ethereal things is something he adores.
It aligns with him so naturally.
The aesthetic, the atmosphere, the appreciation for the strange and beautiful…
You don’t feel out of place with him.
You feel seen.
Your creative side is something he encourages without pressure.
You don’t have to constantly produce.
You don’t have to be perfect.
You can create when it feels right.
And he will appreciate it every time.
Your relationship is soft, a little bittersweet, but deeply healing.
You bring warmth, sincerity, and a heart that wants to love despite everything.
He brings patience, understanding, and someone who proves that love doesn’t have to hurt to be real.
And with him…
You slowly learn that being loved isn’t something you have to earn.
It’s something you’re already worthy of.
