Awake || Charlie & Brooke

@brooke--ford;; Charlie wasn’t sure when the last time he’d felt so... not rested was. He’d been unable to get through to some people so he was still trying to get in touch to let them know what had happened. He kept thinking about things he really wanted to not think about so he was trying to distract himself, ending up playing a stupid game on his phone... but he was so unfocused that he never made it past level two. He didn’t even know when Brooke would wake up but he was pretty sure he wasn’t planning on going anywhere until she did. Though several nurses had urged him to but he just wanted to make sure first. See for himself. He felt bad thinking back over their last conversation, not picking up on anything. Had there even been anything to pick up on? He tried not to think so much, or think about how much this whole general scenario got to him, ending up getting annoyed at his phone and sitting there in silence, staring into space.
