This pregnancy has just FLOWN by! Since today was Flora’s birthday, I was spending some time with her and Gemma Grace (aka Gigi!) and checking out their new dollhouse, when I began feeling unwell. 

I thought I was hungry, so I made myself some breakfast, but the feeling didn’t fade, and suddenly I realised I was in full labour!

I decided to have another home birth in our newly renovated nursery. Jason was out at work, so I called my midwife to come right away!

The baby came SO quickly though, the midwife didn’t even arrive in time and I delivered our sweet baby all by myself - with God by my side, of course! Praise be, it’s another girl! I named her sweet Hattie Ruth Blake.

I could hear Flora crying downstairs - I guess she was upset about her birthday being missed. I’ll have to work on her countenance with her. 

Brooklyn decided to make Flora a cake anyway - I would’ve warned her about spoiling her little sister, but I was occupied with Hattie. A lesson for another time!

It’s the most SPECIAL day in the Blake family! Our oldest girls, our special twins, are ageing up to teens! Jason and I arranged a big party for them at the Brindleton Bay Country Club, and since Emma is ageing up to a child on the same day, we brought her to the party too! 

We had three different cakes - a big pink one for pictures, and then two others for blowing out their candles! I didn’t manage to get a picture of Brooklyn blowing out her candles, but Anya and Emma were so happy and surprised by the cakes! Don’t they look sweet?

It’s so unbelievable that our oldest girls are almost all grown up! Jason and I are so proud of the beautiful, Godly young women they have become. Aren't they just stunning? Jason, Anya, and Emma have such a special bond between the three of them - my three special blondes!

We finished the night with a DANCE PARTY! It felt a bit silly dancing with the teens and kids at the Club House, we had so much fun! The girls know they have the coolest, most hip parents 😉

I woke up early to watch the sunrise! Tartosa is so peaceful early in the morning, and I love sitting out on the little patio and having some “me” time. I spent some time praying and talking to God, of course, but also just enjoyed the view and the fresh air!

While I was relaxing downstairs and enjoying a cup of tea, Brooklyn must’ve heard me and came downstairs as well, shortly followed by Chloe. It was lovely to spend some quality time with two of my big girls before we welcome another little one into the family!

I’m trying to get some ideas for the next baby’s name, so we chatted about that. I hope it’ll be a girl this time - I can’t think of any good boys’ names beginning with F! Brooklyn suggested Freya, but that’s the name of a fake god! Apparently she learned about it from a library book at school - I’ll have to talk to the school about it when we get home!

Jason wasn’t feeling well today - probably a bit of heatstroke from his horrible sunburn! He wanted to rest and relax without the kids being noisy, so I took all five of them to the beach! It was a little nerve-wracking being all alone with the girls, but luckily Brooklyn is such a responsible young lady, and took great care of her little sisters. It’s hard to believe little Daphne will be aged up to a child soon, and Emma won’t be the littlest any more!

Anya: Brookie, you HAVE to leave me alone at school! You’re making me look way less cool.

Brooklyn: I don’t go anywhere near you! It’s not my fault the teacher put us in the same group for a project. And you’re not that cool anyway.

Anya: I am SO! Daddy says I am. Ever since I was in that McSimalds commercial last month I’m basically FAMOUS at school! Just because we’re sisters doesn’t mean you get to be as famous as me! You’re WAY too dorky!

Brooklyn:... dorky? Do people really think I’m... dorky?

Anya: Well, duh! You’re always talking about sports and soccer and you spend way too much time doing schoolwork! Even Becky and Carys think you’re a dorky NERD!

Brooklyn: Oh... I thought they were my friends...

Anya: if you want more REAL friends, you need to be more like me! Daddy says so too - he says I’m perfect. Just follow exactly what I do and you’ll be popular in NO time!

Jason started a new job when we moved to Brindleton Bay - he’s now a film critic and journalist! It’s lovely to have him home every day instead of filming movies, and I love our little daily routine. I always get to give him a kiss before he leaves in the morning, to remind him how much I love him!

Then I take the trash out and attend to the household chores - it’s really a full-time job keeping up this big a house, but I’m grateful that Jason (coughmorelikejason’sdadcough) can provide us with such a big, beautiful home! 

Anya and Brooklyn look after the little girls most days, but I try to make some time to play with them as well! It’s important that they have me to look up to as a Godly example of a wife and mother!

I’ve also been trying to stay more in shape - we’re getting closer to Baby #5′s due date, but I want to stay looking good for Jason so he doesn’t stray! (AN: again...) Ladies, remember you have to look good to keep your man! You can’t become a slob once you’re married, that’s dishonest and sets a poor example for your daughters! The twinnies already love using my treadmill to stay in shape too. 

Jason was late coming home tonight, so I did a movie night outside with the girls! They just LOVE the little outdoor screen Jason set up for them - he’s so good to the girls!

Our precious 5th blessing and 5th girl, Emma Rose, was born at home just a few weeks ago! She is such a beautiful baby - I think our prettiest yet! It’s hard to tell, but I think she has Jason’s blue eyes and blonde hair as well. Even though she’s another girl, Jason is smitten with his little twin!

My sweet twinnies are not so little any more, and are off to Brindleton Christian Girls’ College (BCGC), a private christian school for young ladies! I wanted to homeschool them, but Jason thought private school would be better for their education and development. I was VERY concerned about them learning all sorts of ungodly things, but Jason assured me that BCGC is a reputable Christian school!

Don’t they look sweet in their uniforms? They’re very MODEST, which I like! Jason isn’t so worried about modesty in clothing, so the girls are allowed to wear shorts and tank tops, but I think they should be more modest for school!

Now that they’re children and old enough for auditions, we got the twins headshots! Every time Jason talks about their careers he gets upset they’re not identical - he’s thinking of dying Brooklyn’s hair blonde so they’ll look more similar, but for now I think they’re fine. Anya is SO excited for auditions - Brooklyn isn’t sure just yet. She would probably rather play outside, but I’m know she’ll outgrow that tomboyish behaviour soon!
