Another “From the Vaults” from Gen 5 as I gear myself up to writing the wrap up of Gen 8 - Flora and Emma’s university graduation! Emma was the original intended heir for this gen, but she ended up becoming so non-fundie that it just wasn’t true to the ‘fundie sims’ blog any more. I played her for a while (and have lots more posts from her if anyone wants to see them), but obviously ended up abandoning that generation after I lost inspiration.

It’s so busy having three little ones at home! The twinnies are too young to be left alone and I do love spending time with them. Anya is obsessed with the dollhouse, and whenever I have a spare moment I sit with her and we play house! I’m not sure what Brooklyn likes to do, but she hangs around with us.

Playing with the twinnies is my favourite part of the day, but Chloe has gotten fussy and needy lately (so much for being the perfect future wife, Jason joked!), so I don’t get as much time with the twins as I would like. The house is a bit of a mess now too... there’s so little time in the day to get everything done!

Jason has been so busy at work lately that he hasn’t had time to help out, but I’m not complaining! I know he’s working hard so he can take care of our little family, like the God-honouring man he is! Right now, he’s away for a few weeks working on a film project - I’m so proud of him!

Meanwhile, a few blocks away.....

Blake number 9 has arrived! And it’s another sweet girl - so fitting that she was born in the littlest girls’ room! They had to sleep in the living room while I was in labour, but it was such a peaceful experience for me! 

It was a fairly long labour, but the midwife checked in every few hours and everything went well! 

I’ve named her Isla Claire! Jason says we should’ve named her Zoe because she’s our last, but I think we need to trust God and his plan - maybe we’ll still have more!

Willow: Jason! I have the best news!

Jason: And you had to call me to the bathroom to tell me?

Willow: Yes! I wanted to tell you without the little ones overhearing. I want to plan a special way to tell them!

Jason: Don’t tell me you’re....

Willow: I’m EXPECTING! Isn’t that exciting! God has blessed us again!

Jason: Oh come ON! We can barely afford the ones we have, we can’t have more! Sim Magazine won’t even pay for an announcement any more - ever since I stopped acting and became a critic, we’re too irrelevant! My dad won’t keep throwing money at us, he thinks we’re irresponsible!

Willow: We’re not irresponsible - we’re BLESSED!

Jason: ....

Willow: It’s not like we can do anything about it now!

Jason: FINE. This one better be a boy though, I’m so sick of all these girls!

Today I had to travel back to Henford on Bagley for a very terrible day - my Godly father died just a few days ago, and I needed to be with my sweet Mama for his funeral. Mama was just devastated to lose her Godly headship. John will take care of her from now on, of course, but it’s still so sad! I can’t imagine losing Jason, I wouldn’t know what to do with myself!

Mama was so sad she didn’t even take any selfies with the coffin - she does that at every funeral!

I ended up sat next to my sweet sister in law, Katie. She hasn’t had any more children since her youngest, Miriam, was born two years ago. Meanwhile, I just had a little one a few months ago. I asked her if she’d offended God so he wouldn’t give her any more children, and she just sneered at me! So rude!

Willow: It is SO good to have some quality sister time together, Esty! I missed you so much! And so good for the girls to have time to play together and get to know each other better - cousins have such a special bond!

Esty: I agree! And how is your newest little one? Daffy, is it?

Willow: Daphne, actually. She’s precious, just perfect. And sweet Maci? I can’t believe I’ve not yet met her - where did she run off to?

Esty: Oh, she’s just playing with your girls. 

Maci: Mamaaaaaaa I want a drink!

Esty: Hush, Maci, go ask one of your cousins for a drink.

Willow: Oh, that’s alright, I’ll grab her a sippy cup. But come here and let me look at you first, precious young lady!

cue music. 

Willow: Gee, Esty.... she’s awfully blonde... and blue eyed... doesn’t look like you or Gil or little Rhett at all...

Jason started a new job when we moved to Brindleton Bay - he’s now a film critic and journalist! It’s lovely to have him home every day instead of filming movies, and I love our little daily routine. I always get to give him a kiss before he leaves in the morning, to remind him how much I love him!

Then I take the trash out and attend to the household chores - it’s really a full-time job keeping up this big a house, but I’m grateful that Jason (coughmorelikejason’sdadcough) can provide us with such a big, beautiful home! 

Anya and Brooklyn look after the little girls most days, but I try to make some time to play with them as well! It’s important that they have me to look up to as a Godly example of a wife and mother!

I’ve also been trying to stay more in shape - we’re getting closer to Baby #5′s due date, but I want to stay looking good for Jason so he doesn’t stray! (AN: again...) Ladies, remember you have to look good to keep your man! You can’t become a slob once you’re married, that’s dishonest and sets a poor example for your daughters! The twinnies already love using my treadmill to stay in shape too. 

Jason was late coming home tonight, so I did a movie night outside with the girls! They just LOVE the little outdoor screen Jason set up for them - he’s so good to the girls!
