Brooklyn Grooming

With products named after popular neighborhoods in the borough and crisp white packaging, Brooklyn Grooming’s line of personal care products immediately catches the eye. Items from the Williamsburg line, for example, boast they smell of “personal triumph” and evoke a natural, woody scent. Corresponding shower gels, mustache creams, and lotions from the Red Hook line are more citrusey and spicy. The overall essence of each of Brooklyn Grooming’s different product lines pay tribute to the individual feel and attitude in each neighborhood, making it an easy choice for locals to identify more closely with their home borough. Brooklyn Grooming’s playfulness with their brand doesn’t disguise the quality of the work, however. All products are created from hand measured organic ingredients and processed in their Brooklyn studio.

ブルックリンのデザイナーやアーティスト、アルチザンを取りあげる Jennifer CouseyさんのブログThe Makers Projectの本。 届くのを首を長くして待ってたよ。やっと届いた。 ブルックリンの”今”のクリエイティビティに満ちた空気が詰まっていて ページをめくる度、5月に訪ねたときの事を思い出して深い溜め息が出る。 ブルックリンには数年のうちにまた行こうと考えている。 その時には、この本を片手にメイカーズに会いに行こう。 ::::::::: This is a book of The Makers Project by Jennifer Cousey who is a photographer. I was looking forward to getting it. There is creative atmosphere in Brooklyn and the book, Jeniffer expresses it as 'creative renaissance in Brooklyn'. I also felt it when I visited to Brooklyn in Mar. As I turned pages, I remembered that atmosphere and I breathed a sigh of dear. I wish I go to Brooklyn again within a few years. I'll take the book to there and I wanna meet to the Makers.
