I headcanon that married/established Rabbot started calling each other “brother” early in their relationship as a bit and like all good bits it eventually became apart of their daily vocab. They kept it up because 1) they think it’s funny/it freaks people out 2) it’s so ingrained in their lexicon at this point they don’t think about it until someone points it out (and when it is pointed out refer to point 1). Probably started after a server at one of their dates said something like “You are both so sweet with each other, are you brothers?”
