[FRANCE] J'ai du vin rouge et des roses, avez-vous une histoire à partager avec moi? (French: I have red wine and rose, do you have a story to share with me?) _ Happy Valentine 2019. Made a meat rose at home using beef salami to pair with the Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Please ignore about my clumsy hand and the not-good-looking plate. Anyway, the beef salami was quite tasty though. Quite a unique red wine, especially the outlook (distorted bottle shape with the rough texture on the bottle) and the wine label which written in French. My point of buying is the unique wine cape design and the bottle shape. Took me a while to pronounce correctly the name, thanks to the wine seller and Google. _ Great bright ruby color with transparency when observed from above. Oak, leather, blueberry, spices and a bit of lavender on nose with flavor of leather, blackberry, cheese, pepper on palate. One thing to notice is the breath exhaled right after drinking is a bit of strong and smoky. Smooth and long finish. _ Valentine is such a pain for a long distance couple like me. Anyway, no matter you are single, divorced, couple, or even not preparing to love anyone, the most important thing is to love yourself first.
