Engraved and mold-blown brandy carafe designed by Edvard Hald for Orrefors glasbruk, 1927, featuring images of a crayfish with snapsglasses and lanterns.

These images are likely intended to depict a crayfish party, which is still a very popular type of seasonal party throughout the Nordic countries today, flooding the supermarkets yearly with crayfish-printed and -themed decorations and disposable dishes, etc.
