Request/Summary: Requested by anon: Could you write a Father!Bruce Banner x Adopted!Reader (who is 14 ish) where Bruce's daughter is a thespian and a huge theatre nerd, like she always gets lead roles and takes it super seriously bc thats what she wants to do in the future and Bruce is a huge stage mom? Like he always brings tea and helps with costumes and promotion and carpool? Lol sorry if this is a weird request, I am but a small thespian trying to get by
Notes: Sorry this isn’t particularly long, i’ve never known any parents like that and school plays aren’t a massive thing in the UK, so I just figured i’d do a cute little bit, so I hope its okay.
“Are your eyes closed?”
“Yes, dadddddd!” You whine, keeping your eyes tightly closed as you hear the rustling of fabric and a quiet ‘ouch’. If there was one thing Bruce Banner was good at it was being a dad and part of being a dad was the surprises that he always seemed to have for you. Blood or not, he was the best dad you could have asked for.
“Alright. Open them.”
“Oh my god! Is that...?” You stare at the bejewelled, bedecked outfit in his hands, so classic Shakespeare that you can’t believe that it was right in front of you.
“Your new costume for Much A Do About Nothing, not only am I a scientist, I am also and excellent tailor” It was beautiful. Perfect. The perfect thing to wear for this play, the perfect thing of this part, the perfect thing to prove that this, acting, was what you were made to do.
“Oh my god!” and he made it. He made it.
“Well? You going to try it on!”
“Yes! Ahh!”
Bruce Banner was a lot of things; scientist, tailor, adoptive father, avenger, but by far is favourite title was dad. His favourite thing was being able to make you smile, to support your dreams, to help you achieve what you want to achieve because you had so much potential and so many dreams. He wanted to see those dreams thrive.
